Easton "Cully" Platform Pedals

With a large thin platform, sealed bearings, nasty pins to hold your foot tight in all but the hairiest of riding conditions and on offer at half price I had to try a set of these.

Strengths

The pedal body is very thin which means your foot is close the the pedal axle making for better control. These things feel real solid and stable when riding.

The M3 pins stick in to your shoes giving superb grip. They will also stick in to your shins just as happily so beware!

Weaknesses

The M3 pins are to thin and get bent real quick when grabbing on to things. I've snapped one clean off with no chance of getting the rest of it out of the pedal body.

Overall

A real nice pedal (and they should be for the price) offering superb grip and a responsive ride. The weakness of the pins would make me avoid them for trials riding though as they'll get bent out of shape real quick.
