Setting Up Your Unicycle
Having a unicycle set-up so it's just right for you can make a whole load of difference to how you ride - especially if you're a beginner. It's always a good idea to check over your unicycle before setting out just to make sure everything's okay and the way it should be.

Seat Height
If your seat is too high your feat won't touch the pedals when they're at the lowest point and if it's too low you'll find pedaling a much harder task. The ideal height is when your leg is just slightly bent when your foot is on either of the pedals at its lowest point.
Bits 'n' Bobs
A few other important things to check:
- Your seat is straight.
- The pedals are screwed in to the cranks securely.
- The cranks aren't loose.
- You're tyre is fully inflated.
Having said all this you do get to know your unicycle and, likewise, get to "feel" when something's not quite right.
