Getting Off (When You Want To)
Unless you're planning to spend your entire life on a unicycle (life could be worse) you have to get off it sometime. You can just jump and hope for the best but there's a better way. Ideally when you dismount you should hold on to the unicycle seat to stop it from crashing to the ground - here's how.

1, 2, 3 - Hoopla
This tip is a three stage process executed in quick succession. The word "quick" could be scary but it's really easy and fairly natural so don't let that put you off. So, when you decide it's time to dismount:
- As your favourite foor comes over the top of a revolution; start to slow down your pedalling action so the favourite foot comes to a complete stop when it reaches the lowest point.
- As the pedal reaches its lowest point reach a hand of your choice and grab the back of the seat.
- Hop off by shifting your weight from the seat to the lowest pedal and lifting your other foot off it's pedal and planting it on the ground.
When, and if you try this, it's easier if you count the steps in your head "1 2 3".
